Athletes
I have a passion for sports and the outdoors. Scientific research shows that there are many physical and mental health benefits to being physically active and part of a group. If you want to live longer and have a better quality of life; you have to keep moving.
However, whether people exercise for health and enjoyment, or compete at a serious level, injuries do occur. It’s not fun to be “sidelined” from something you love to do. It’s not fun when motivation starts to slide, burnout occurs, and training starts to feel like a job you want to leave.
Some athletes have performance anxiety, do well in personal or team training but fall apart during the actual competition. The anxiety gets the better of them and performance declines. I have helped athletes with these issues.
So, whether you an individual who is just trying to stay in shape or someone who competes, I can help you with the psychological aspects of training and performance.
